Hi, I'm Melissa!

Owner of Melissa Jean Photography, lover of coffee, Netflix, and dogs.

I was born and raised in SLO county, but love traveling, for work or otherwise.

I have a big family (mostly all in the area) and I love being around family and friends.

Being a photographer allows me to capture those awesome moments of being with family and friends for my clients. My style is photojournalistic, which focuses on capturing candid moments instead of posing. This means on your wedding day you get to look back and see photos capturing real moments, and have real memories, instead of having a day that revolved around posing for photos and stressing about getting the right shot.

Your wedding day is about you marrying and committing to the love of your life. The pictures should reflect that.
