One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer in San Luis Obispo county is that even if my clients don't stay around the area (or maybe they weren't even from the area in the first place) there's a good chance that they'll come back here to vacation because it's such a wonderful area!

And that means that I get to do their anniversary, maternity, family photos and more when they come back.

Getting to see what your family evolves into, the little people you create, and the personalities that emerge from them is more exciting than I know how to handle. There's something affirming about seeing clients still in love (or more in love!) years down the road. It shows that your wedding day from way back when truly was the start of a beautiful story, and I'm honored to capture it.

Meet Mat and Melissa. I shot their wedding January 2013, and now January 2015 I got the privilege of capturing their family photos with their newest addition - Alexis (10 months).
