Stop Motion feature of my Nephews!

I absolutely love my job. I'm blessed to be able to do work that makes me excited every single day.

January is the time of the year I play around with new techniques and ideas that I can fine tune and bring to my clients in the following year.

And one such idea that I've been wanting to do for a long time is stop motion. I have a vision of a stop motion engagement session that would just be incredible, but before I bring this idea to my clients I wanted to make sure I figured a thing or two out.

And who better to practice on than my own nephews. Not only is it great because I'm providing something for my family, doing it while I am babysitting them anyway, and they're darn cute -- but it's also great because practicing on a munchkin that moves a million miles an hour means once I'm shooting clients who know how to not run away (well... some of them) I'll be able to create an even better project.

This is just a day in the life -- one of my favorite types of shoots, because while getting dressed up and getting portraits taken is important, remembering how beautiful the every day of life is is important too.

And to embark on that idea myself, next month I'm going to create 10 second clips each day of my day to day life for the entire month of February compiled into one video. Don't forget how beautiful your life is.
