Right now there's a plethora of wild flowers around and being the chasers of beautiful fleeting scenery that we are my friend Asia and I decided to go adventure and take photos.
Now, in my head this is a great idea! I don't get photos of myself nearly often enough! And a day to play with no business pressure is always good for rejuvenating your creative spirit.
So we picked a day and we went out with her new protege, Julia.
And I was SO excited!
Unit the moment we were about to start and I remembered something.... I am the WORST client in front of the camera!
Before I was even standing in front of the camera I was already complaining and asking what to do and if my hair looked weird and did I look fat and the most important question-- WHAT do I do with my troll face!?!?
And this whole being a horrible client continued for probably the first fifteen minutes. Probably for longer than Asia and Julia cared to listen.
But there's three really good things that came from it.
1. I eventually got over it and learned how to be comfortable (kind of) in front of the camera.
2. I got to remember how hard it is for my clients and remind myself how to help them through it too
3. I am going to get some awesome pictures of myself out of the experience!!
So here's a look at some of the behind the scenes and the photos I got from the day! I'm sure Asia and Julia will be sharing soon too and you can see some different perspectives!

I was also reminded that while I ADORE the beautiful scenery in nature I am NOT a fan of all of nature... mainly crickets. And bugs. Of any sort. (And sure he's tiny and you might even want to say cute, but no -- not with how far he can jump and the fact he could fit up your nose!)

And one of the great things about fun sessions is getting to be silly and playing with things like hair flips -- because why not!

And this girl, with her awesome long hair, she rocks hair flips for sure!!

Or just some dancing is always fun too!

Friends in the photo industry are the best. We might all be competition, but we're also not. So reach out, make friends, and realize we all have the same goal!
