Surprise Proposals | Templeton Engagement Photography

It's not often someone else gets engaged and it's my dream come true, but this one was. I'd been wanting to shoot a surprise engagement for the longest time, but even with my over active imagination I couldn't imagine something this amazing.

AND I got to be a part of scheming for it!

I first met Krupa a few months ago and pretty much fell in love with her. She was bright and genuine and so cheerful and I could only imagine that Akash would be just as wonderful. It was some time until I was able to meet him, but one day he called me and told me of his plans to surprise Krupa with a proposal and just like that the wheels were set in motion.

So the day of the surprise arrived and I had Krupa meet me at the Hummingbird House in Templeton, a gorgeous location I would be thrilled to shoot at again! She was under the impression that Akash was out of town doing his residency and that it would just be me there.

Of course she was wrong.

Her reaction when she saw him just adorable, she was so excited, surprised and confused, and they were so adorable as they had their 'date' before the proposal.

I mean really, who needs Disney stories when you have this in real life??
