I was never good at sitting in an office. I always thought that was the type of job that I was meant for. I'm organized (sometimes a little OCD), and I enjoy multitasking a million things at once. But I did that job for three years and shortly into it I realized that my soul was dying. (Yeah, I sound a little dramatic, but that's basically what it was).
So I did an about face, and changed just about everything in my life. I got myself to the point of doing photography full time and I realized this was exactly where I needed to be in life.
Outdoors. In beautiful places. With beautiful people. Making beautiful pictures. (Sure, I still spend time in front of the computer editing all this loveliness, but at least I'm still looking at photos of the beautiful outdoors while I'm inside!)
Sometimes everything about a shoot is just absolutely perfect and I get all giddy about it. But really, what other response is there??
Kritsina and Brian picked the perfect day, location, outfit, and the perfect partner for themselves for the rest of their lives! The shoot was seriously magical. Hanging out with Kristina and Brian and getting to know them better while creating amazing photos in a gorgeous location -- well, that's as perfect as an afternoon gets!
Even considering the fact I got some fat mosquito bites, a mosquito eater (my arch nemesis) hit me in the face, and I sat in patch of stinging nettle and had to deal with an itchy bum for half the shoot.
But look at these two, adorable, in love, and in the cutest outfits I could never have even picked myself for this session!
I also took some film shots this session, so look for those coming in a post soon!
