I tend to get overly excited about weddings. I meet my clients and I truly fall in love, and I believe in them and their love. Watching them get married on their wedding day becomes more than just a job, but a special moment that I'm blessed to be a part of.

So when I actually know my clients outside of out photographer-client relationship, I get ridiculously giddy!

That's how it was with Kelsey. I've known her for basically as long as I can remember. Her sister was in my grade, and my older sister was in her oldest sister's grade 1st through 12th. Seeing her in her wedding dress (and her awesome barefoot sandals! Gotta love a barefoot bride!) that her aunt made was magazine cover worthy!

Now, Tye, I only got to meet at our first client meeting. But due to the nature of small towns I'd already heard about him -- only great things. And watching him and Kelsey together during our client meeting affirmed everything I'd heard about how great they were together.

Their wedding day was absolutely perfect. At a venue I'd never shot at before (which is always exciting), with cloud cover that saved us from what would have been an incredibly hot day, a mini flash downpour of rain at the very end of the reception, and a sincerely beautiful and easy couples photo session in the vineyards (really, it was way too easy to photograph them). And the details. Oh my goodness, the details would make any photographer swoon!

So here are some highlights from their wedding day because I simply cannot wait any longer to share the goodness!

She is stunning. Just absolutely stunning!

Look at this dashing groom and his incredible tie!

I always love it when I get to have a name plate at the wedding. It's such a fun way to keep a souvenir from the wedding day in my office to remember all my clients by. But check this one out -- I actually thought they did this one personally for me (it's just like my logo! Print and then cursive!), but it turns out that's just the style they picked! =)
