Goals and 2015

I love goals. I love lists and crossing things off my lists.

A goal of mine for the past two years has been to do photos in the snow.

So, with one free day and weather reports that promised snow all day me and my roommate packed up and took off, a bit later than planned, but with hearts full of optimism! Oh how wrong we were...

Suffice it to say we had a complete fail of a day, but all in all we can at least be happy to have had an adventure and that our car did NOT slide off the road! (The car that did slide off the road was thankfully completely safe as well). Between losing the sunlight, traffic jams from cars sliding off the road, the heater failing, my wheel of my car almost falling off and all rain and no snow, well, we didn't get the photos we were hoping for.

We'll call this a trial run... here's to next time this trip going a little better.

Another goal in the past year has been to be in FRONT of the camera more. So that I can understand how my clients feel when they're in front of the camera and be a better photographer because of that.

My goal was to do a once a month but that didn't exactly happen. However, as so often happens, even though I didn't hit my goal I still was in front of the camera WAY more than I used to be in the past.

And that's not even counting the photobooths! No one can ever say I don't love me some photobooth time!
