Today I had the supreme honor of capturing a beautiful moment in the life of Cliff and Catherine. Engagement proposals are the sweetest, most heart felt moments, and being there to capture it is an amazing honor. To see the joy and emotion and promise of a future between two people, it's a joy that can't help but be contagious.
I truly loved getting to be there this morning, and I am so happy for these two and their families. And also, of course, a happy birthday to Cliff!
Stalking these two down the pier (when I'd never met either of them, and was not 100% sure they were the couple I was supposed to be photographing) was such an adventure, and it could not have happened on a more beautiful day in a more beautiful place! San Simeon was all sunshine and beauty, while inland was rainy and dreary!
