Weddings. Somehow over the last few years I've become the person who tears up or smiles/borderline giggles uncontrollably because I am SO excited to watch this amazing day in an amazing couple's life.
And when the bride happens to be someone I knew from high school it is even more meaningful to see that they've found and joined lives with their person.
That was how Kyle and Jordan's day was at Portola Inn in Atascadero. It was a beautiful venue to capture their day and I think it fit them perfectly. Kyle was an absolutely stunning bride, I'm not sure I've met anyone who really just seemed so bridal. She was stunning in her dress and given different circumstances (ya know, like her not having family, friends, and a brand new husband all around her) I could have photographed her for hours.
So that leaves me with the always fun struggle (no sarcasm, it is fun to have this struggle) of trying to narrow down the millions of images I want to post as a preview so that I can actually get this preview out in a reasonable time.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. There is so much more beautiful to come, but I had to at least share a few from their amazing day. I am so happy for them. I'm so happy for the years they have to come.

The details from the day were so beautiful and springtimey!

Some people do first looks, some don't. Honestly I'm still not sure if I'm for or against them, but I DO know I love when couples do First Prayers; where they don't see each other, but take a moment before their ceremony to pray together. It's such a power and beautiful thing and seriously makes my heart smile.

Obligatory cute slobbery baby photo. In. a. bowtie.

See what I'm saying? So bridal. She could be on magazines. Ugh. I die. I absolutely adore the dress she chose too. It's simply perfect for her. Elegant but not overstated.

Cutting the cupcake and the ring shot, because love is sweet!
